Turismo Mundial (Sistema Mundial de Viajes S.A. de C.V.) is a Wholesaler Tour Operator specialized in the Incoming Travel Business, handling individual travelers and groups of any size and interest; providing an integral variety of services, such as: Transportation, tours, tailor-made programs, hotel accommodations, development and operation of different kind of events, congresses, incentives and conventions.

We have a high qualified team with wide experience and a select network of suppliers, dedicated to satisfy the needs of every client, always based on quality and hospitality, which have positioned our company as one of the most reliable Receptive Tour Operators in the country.

Turismo Mundial was founded in 1998 with the experience and trajectory of two renowned Receptive Tour Operators: Sistema Moderno de Viajes based in Mexico City (In operations since 1975 to date) and Viajes Alta Calidad in Cancun (Created in 1983, now operating as Turismo Mundial). Since then, we have focused in all destinations located within the Yucatan Peninsula and the Maya World (Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Cozumel, Merida, etc).

In the year of 2001 we incorporated our own transportation company: “Transporte Mundial”, which operates exclusively for all passengers handled by Turismo Mundial, in order to provide personalized, reliable and safe service to our guests.

Turismo Mundial has representative offices in Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Bogota and Caracas to support and give a better service to our Wholesaler clients in South America. These offices are dedicated to marketing and payment collection purposes, making operations much easier and helping to reduce costs.

We proudly hold the title of Official Supplier for the “Copa Airlines Vacations” exclusive program, as Copa and Continental are the airline companies that connect more countries in America.
